Sistars Productions is the collaborative venture of the Nunez Lendo ‘Sistars’, each contributing extensive expertise to our creative endeavours. We unite our passion for bringing new narratives with our multicultural heritage and experience. We carry over 15 years of professional experience alongside a vast network of partners in marine science and conservation across the globe, including the Caribbean, the Indo-Pacific, the North and South Pacific, and the Middle East. This value is enhanced through a wealth of experience in documentary filmmaking and entertainment for HBO, Amazon Prime, and national TV platforms. Together, we unite our diverse skill sets to craft enchanting narratives that capture the marvels of unique stories to resonate with audiences while championing nature conservation. We are based in Australia and operate at the international level with our production partners around the world.

Dr. C. Isabel Nunez Lendo is a distinguished marine scientist and engineer with expertise in coral reef conservation, currently engaged in the revision of the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, along with other notable projects. In 2018, she received recognition as a National Geographic Explorer. More recently, she assumed the role of executive producer for several documentaries and co-founded Sistars Productions. Dr. Nuñez Lendo is the Principal Investigator of the project “Exploring the Uncharted Te Mau Motu” onboard the Lindblad - National Geographic Orion vessel and aims to map and evaluate the ecosystems’ benefits remote Polynesian atolls provide and raise awareness of their unique value.

Laura Nunez Lendo is a 360º creative artist with a passion for visual storytelling and playwriting. Laura serves as the video editor, scriptwriter, and producer for diverse audiovisual productions such as TV series and documentaries for platforms such as HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video and Spanish television channels, and is also the co-founder of Sistars Productions. She is deeply honored to have been selected as a Jackson Wild Fellow and finalist for the Ocean Life Storyteller grant.  Her role is key in the project “Exploring the Uncharted Te Mau Motu” onboard the Lindblad - National Geographic Orion vessel, as she is the Lead for the aerial surveys in charge of mapping the wonders of the Tuamotu archipelago.
